A decorated murti of Lord Ganapati seated on an ornate gold-and-brown throne with a red backdrop. The figure wears a white turban topped with peacock feathers, a jeweled crown, a blue garment and a heavy beaded chest ornament with white and red stones. A flame of an oil lamp is visible at the lower left. At the left edge, a partially visible priest in orange cloth with a dark turban and rudraksha beads holds pink flowers. Two metal deity murtis, a central one wearing a gold crown with a red band and a silver necklace, and a smaller one with a pink crown and beaded garlands, sit on a green-draped platform decorated with red and yellow flower garlands. In the foreground at left, a bare-chested priest in a blue turban raises a brass lamp with lit flames in his right hand, wearing a rudraksha-style necklace. Behind him, a man in a cream dhoti sits with folded hands, and another attendant stands at right in a white garland. The scene suggests a puja or aarti performed before the murtis, with no clearly identifiable a person figure visible.2015-10-18November 25 20202020-11-25August 19 20172017-08-19 +1 copiesDecember 29 20182018-12-29December 27 20182018-12-27A photograph of a ceremonial moment before a seated deity murti decorated with striped garlands of red, white, yellow and green.
