A young man with long dreadlocked hair, bare-chested and wearing an orange dhoti, stands at left holding a brass oil lamp with several flames toward the murti. He wears rudraksha malas on his neck and wrists and has sacred ash marks on his chest. The murti is adorned with white flower garlands and gold jewellery, with a colourful fan-shaped headpiece behind it. A gold pedestal below is draped with white and yellow cloth. A partially visible brass figure sits at the lower left. The scene reads as aarti during a ceremony. Only one physical person is visible.2017-08-19A photograph of an ornately decorated deity murti (likely Venkateshwara form) in a gold, jewelled and white-pearl-garlanded setting, backed by a large arched golden and embroidered gilt frame with blue, yellow and maroon patterned panels. The murti wears a tall fan-shaped headdress with colourful plumes, layered white pearl garlands and gold jewellery. In the foreground on the left, a figure with long dreadlocked hair wears an orange saffron cloth draped over the shoulder and a bare upper body with a rudraksha-style bracelet, seen from behind as they face the murti. A red curtain fills the background. Thirumanjanam-style decoration suggests a temple-style festival setting.2017-08-19 +1 copiesJune 06 20202020-06-06
