A brass lamp stands at the right edge.2016-09-22A stage event photograph in front of a red draped curtain with a brass oil lamp stand at centre. Two men speak into handheld microphones. The standing man on the right wears a white dhoti with a gold-bordered yellow-and-gold shawl, a long brown rudraksha mala, a gold chain, bangles, and white tilak marks on his forehead and arms. The seated younger man on the left, kneeling on a low seat, has long dark hair, a bare chest, a saffron-orange shawl with gold border, brown beaded malas, and bangles. Neither person's identity is established from appearance.2016-09-22Three young men in plain white kurta-style clothing stand on a stage before deep red velvet drapes, all wearing rudraksha malas. The man in the centre holds a microphone in one hand and a sheet of paper in the other, reading aloud, with a vertical tilak mark on his forehead. The man on the left leans in to look at the paper, and the man on the right wears glasses and gestures with one hand while speaking. The stage edge has small string lights along the floor. This appears to be a cultural program performance.2009-10-17
