Photo 117407802013-02-03Two computer monitors on a table show a video conference. The larger left screen displays a grid of many small video tiles of people in saffron, orange and white clothing, some seated with name placards and photos of a robed figure. The right screen shows a woman in white sitting in a room with an orange cloth and framed pictures, beside a placard reading 'WASHINGTON, D.C. SRIPURAM'. Brass lamps and cables sit on the table in the foreground. The people shown are on screens, not physically present.2012-09-13A photograph of a wall of video monitors showing a grid of live feeds from multiple satsang locations. Several tiles show groups of people sitting together in homes and halls; one tile labelled "LONDON" shows a person seated on a pink bed beside a candle-lit table, another shows a person in a dark top sitting before a red-draped setup, and a tile marked "ATLANTA" shows women in headscarves and green garments seated with hands in prayer. Printed signs on the tiles read "NEW YORK VARANASI", "NEW JERSEY", "SAINT TULEN FRANCE" and "ATLANTA UJJAIN". The screens are in the foreground, so people on them are depictions and not physically present in the room. No a person candidate is visibly identifiable in the scene.2012-04-22Dark room with several large video monitors displaying a live multi-site video conference. The largest screen shows a grid of small video feeds of groups of devotees seated in rooms, with labels such as SEATTLE SATSANG, SINGAPURAM and NEW JERSEY, and a bearded man in saffron robes with rudraksha and a gold necklace seated bottom right in one feed. Two side monitors show a text slide and more grid feeds. Orange and striped drapery hangs from the ceiling and cables sit on a red cloth on the floor.2013-01-12September 08 20112011-09-08A photograph of several monitors in a dim room showing video feeds of a satsang and ritual event. The largest screens display tiled panels of groups of devotees at altars and gatherings, with a central figure in a red and white sari with garlands visible on one screen. A striped cloth lies on the floor in the foreground, and a laptop sits on a low table. Several screens show text windows and a portrait of a deity. No physical people appear in the foreground; those shown are only on the screens.2012-06-17A photograph of a control room with several wall-mounted video monitors displaying a live multi-site satsang grid. The screens show many small tiles of groups seated in homes, halls and studios, with handwritten or printed place signs such as EDGEWATER NEW JERSEY, GUADELOUPE, ATLANTA UJJAIN and SINGAPURAM. Foreground cameras and cables sit on a dark desk, and a pale projection screen stands at left.2013-01-13A photograph of two monitors on an orange-draped table showing a multi-panel video link of satsang centres. The left screen shows Dubai with a turbaned man in orange and devotees seated on the floor, and Dallas and Atlanta panels with seated devotees and a figure on a golden throne. The right screen shows Ohio with a flag, Houston with a seated group, and a panel with a figure in orange against a golden backdrop. Dark audience silhouettes are visible behind the screens, with cables and a small black device on the table.2011-02-27Photograph of monitors on an orange-draped table showing a live multi-site satsang. The left screen is split into four video feeds: a group of devotees seated on mats in a room, two people in white sitting cross-legged, a figure in an orange robe seated on a gold-ornamented throne before a backdrop, and a woman in red and white beside it. The right screen shows a person in pink-orange robes with a rudraksha mala, hands in anjali, seated on a purple cushioned seat. Swamiji (probable): the figure on the right wears saffron-pink clothing and rudraksha beads, and the throne figure wears orange with long hair, consistent with Swamiji on screen. Room audience members sit in the background.2011-02-27October 01 20112011-10-01September 07 20132013-09-07A photograph of a row of monitors on a table draped with an orange cloth with blue and white woven trim, black cables trailing beneath. The screens show photographs of groups of people, a figure in orange robes, and a bearded person in orange. A tall monitor on the right displays a stacked collage of event photographs including colourful deity images and a figure in orange seated with hands raised. A tripod stands at the right edge. Several people are faintly visible at the far right edge. Warm, dim room lighting.2011-03-03
