A photograph of men in plain white kurta and dhoti-style clothing standing in a bare hall with a peach-coloured wall. In the foreground a man in a white kurta and dark trousers holds a spiral notebook in one hand and raises his other hand while speaking into a microphone on a chrome stand. Beside him a bespectacled man in white shirt and trousers holds papers, and a third man in glasses and white kurta stands at right holding a notebook. A fourth figure is partly visible behind them. Their posture suggests reading or reciting in a group session, and a cardboard box sits on the floor at lower left.2012-04-14April 14 20122012-04-14Three men stand on a stage before a beige wall, reading from papers at a microphone on a metal stand. The man beside him, with a moustache and a small red tilak on his forehead, looks on with a slight smile. The man in the centre holds a microphone in one hand and a sheet of paper in the other, reading aloud, with a vertical tilak mark on his forehead. The man on the left leans in to look at the paper, and the man on the right wears glasses and gestures with one hand while speaking. The stage edge has small string lights along the floor. This appears to be a cultural program performance.2009-10-17A photograph of a group of men in white ashram clothes reciting from printed sheets in a pale peach-walled hall. In the foreground, a man in a white shirt with a lanyard and name badge reads from an open booklet at a silver microphone stand. Beside him, a man in a white shirt and dark trousers stands with a lanyard, and behind them an older man in white and another in a striped shirt hold papers. A red curtain hangs at the right edge beside an open doorway.2012-04-17A man in a white kurta stands at a microphone stand in front of a plain peach-coloured wall, holding an open white notepad with a blue pen in one hand. He wears a navy lanyard around his neck and his eyes are lowered as he reads. A metal railing runs along the right side of the room and a small red-and-orange floral arrangement sits at the lower left edge. The scene resembles a speaker reading notes at an ashram event. No candidate for a person is identifiable from appearance, so the figure is described by role only.2011-11-28
