An outdoor shrine under a spreading tree: a low, flat-topped stone platform holds an arched dark niche containing a small deity murti, with a faint offering or flower inside. Two bronze bells hang from a branch on the left, a stone step sits in front, and dry leaves cover the bare ground. A wire fence and a small building appear behind. No people are visible.2007-05-04A photograph of an outdoor stone platform or raised earthen seat built from rough stones, set on dry reddish soil among small trees and scrubby green bushes. Stones line a path along the right edge. No people are visible; the site appears to be a shrine-like or resting place in a wooded hillside setting.2008-08-03August 03 20082008-08-03A large banyan tree with dense aerial roots and thick trunks surrounds a small dark cave-like opening at its base. A round raised stone platform with curved low walls encircles the tree base on reddish-brown earth. A small oil lamp flame glows inside the dark opening. Two dark granite slabs lie on the ground at the front, and a small grey stone block sits near the entrance. A red-painted root and a reddish mark appear on the trunk. No people are visible.2013-09-10September 18 20132013-09-18February 16 20072007-02-16February 12 20072007-02-12 +1 copiesSeptember 11 20132013-09-11A rural yard after a storm, with bare dirt ground scattered with sticks, debris and a few small items. No people are visible.2012-01-06April 24 20132013-04-24A photograph of a shaded outdoor grove with a large horizontal banyan-type tree branch stretching across the upper frame over two circular raised concrete planters filled with red-brown earth. Thin trunks and aerial roots rise from the central planter, while fallen leaves and small seedlings cover the reddish ground. Dense green foliage and bamboo poles frame the left side. No people, deities, or ritual activity are visible.2010-06-05February 16 20072007-02-16
