Night street photograph of a crowd gathered on a wet road in front of a large red banner. A seated figure in orange robes sits on a blue plastic chair in the center of the crowd, wearing an orange garment with a visible orange head covering. Around them, men and women in white dhotis and shirts, some with orange shawls draped over their shoulders, stand barefoot, many with arms folded. The banner shows a portrait of a man in an orange garment with gold necklaces, labelled as a printed caption reading Paramahamsa Nithyanandar, with event details printed in Tamil. Two small framed portraits of men in suits appear on a board at upper right.2006-09-24January 11 20092009-01-11August 03 20082008-08-03A photograph of a crowded outdoor-style community space under corrugated roofing.
