Night outdoor gathering in a village street lit by a bright overhead lamp. A young man in a plain orange saffron robe stands centre, smiling, hands clasped at the waist, with a bare shaved-looking head and no visible crown, malas or ornate ornaments, so his identity is uncertain. A man in a white shirt and white dhoti holds a microphone to address the crowd. An elderly woman in an orange sari stands beside him, and a man in a red shirt and white dhoti stands to the right. Behind them a white canopy with a printed banner, and a crowd of onlookers including children in light blue and pink clothes fill the frame. Strings of lights hang on a building at upper right.

Night-time outdoor scene on a dirt road, lit by a street lamp, with a crowd of devotees walking together. At the centre, a figure in an orange-saffron robe with a long dark rudraksha mala around the neck walks forward smiling, with long dark hair; the appearance cues are a long-haired, orange-robed sannyasi, so Swamiji (probable) leads this procession. Around him, men and women in white shirts, orange and brown robes, and a white-clad figure with a shaved head walk closely; an elderly woman in a purple sari and white shawl stands at left, a woman in a teal top at left, and a young man in a pink shirt at right. Banners with portrait photographs are mounted on boards behind the crowd and at right, and a white wall and trees frame the background. Roughly 40 people are visible.

Night photograph of a crowded outdoor festival at a temple-style pandal decorated with orange and white cloth swags, marigold and jasmine garlands and tall ornamental poles. On a raised dais on the right, a seated figure in saffron robes with a white cloth draped over his lap receives devotees, with flower arrangements and a decorated kalasha-like vessel beside him. Crowds of devotees in white shirts and dhotis, sarees in yellow, green and red, and children move along red carpeting. A large banner with Tamil text and a framed portrait hang behind the dais, and bright white lights illuminate the scene.

Night outdoor temple scene with a crowd of devotees in white dhotis, saris and colourful clothing. A figure in saffron-orange robes with a white headband stands beneath a multicolour umbrella with tassels, holding a ceremonial staff and performing a ritual. Several people in white kneel or stand, one woman in a gold-and-brown sari sits on white blocks, and a woman in yellow holds her palms together in prayer near small brass offering dishes. Strings of flags and a painted panel are visible behind, with a child in a blue shirt at right. The orange-robed figure may be a person, given the saffron robe and white headband, though the face is not clearly visible enough to confirm.

Night procession on a dirt road with many people in a crowd behind and around a central figure. A bald man in a flowing saffron-orange robe and orange shawl, wearing a gold necklace and a long bamboo staff with an orange pennant, walks in the centre. Men around him wear white shirts or white kurtas and mundu-style white dhotis, several with rudraksha mala necklaces; one wears a white shirt and another a plaid shirt with a checked lungi. A man on the far right wears a striped shirt and presses his palms together, and a woman in a pale floral sari stands to the right. Street lights and dark trees form the background, and the scene reads as a devotional walk or temple procession.

Night-time outdoor gathering at a temple-festival grounds lit by bright floodlights. Many men and a few children walk and stand among tents and stalls with striped awnings in green, red and yellow. Most men wear white shirts and dhotis or trousers; the foreground man wears a pink shirt, and a boy in a yellow shirt stands nearby. Tables with white cloths are set up under the tents, and banners hang on the back wall. No clearly identifiable a person is visible.
