In the background a deity murti decorated with garlands is carried on a palanquin beneath an ornate golden canopy.2006-12-23December 23 20062006-12-23 +1 copiesNight photograph of a temple procession. In the centre, a man in an orange saffron robe with a rudraksha mala and bare upper body holds a lit camphor flame in a silver aarti plate raised with one hand, while his other hand holds a small silver vessel. Behind him, devotees in white clothes and orange shawls stand with palms pressed together. Oil lamp torches burn in the background, and an ornate deity murti with garlands is carried on a palanquin, with bright lights and a golden pillar at the right edge. This is aarti during a procession. The man's appearance is consistent with the page's a person claim, but the cues are not distinctive enough to confirm identity.2006-12-23 +1 copies
