November 16 20152015-11-16Night view of a multi-storey building at the Kriyaa Ashram-style complex decorated with strings of white, blue and orange fairy lights outlining windows, balconies and columns for an evening celebration. A few people sit on the entrance steps at the lower right, while a bush and a small signboard reading KRIYAA ASHRAM stand at the base. Lit windows and a lamp-strewn courtyard with a figure partly visible at the bottom edge complete the scene.2016-12-12November 18 20152015-11-18Night view of an ashram courtyard decorated for Deepavali with multicoloured string lights strung in vertical columns on the building facades in red, green, blue, purple and white. A dark dirt ground fills the foreground. Around a dozen people in white and light clothing stand in a loose line near the lit buildings, some with hands folded. Swags of lights drape along the facade, outlining the roofline and framing an entrance with a doorway and steps. Two lit arched figures flank the doorway, and light strands sweep up into the dark sky toward a tall pole. No people are visible; the setting appears to be a festive lit-up temple or ashram hall during a celebration.2007-10-12October 12 20072007-10-12Night photograph of a long building façade covered in vertical strings of multicoloured fairy lights in blue, red, green, orange and white, reflected in a dark puddle or pond in the foreground. A bright floodlight and a street lamp glow at the edges, with bare ground and a rock in the lower right. No people are visible in the scene.2015-11-16January 11 20102010-01-11 +1 copies
