On the left, a woman in a white t-shirt, pink skirt and rudraksha mala leans on a silver-toned railing, with gold bangles on her wrist. Next to her, a woman in white clothes with a black necklace stands with hands together. Beside her, a woman in white with a red bindi and a dark pendant necklace smiles, and a white-clad woman on the right wears a white dotted dress with hands clasped and a white event badge on her waist. Several people are visible in the background.2011-01-21A photograph of six young women in matching white salwar-kameez outfits performing on a stage before a dark red curtain. Several of them hold microphones or sheets of paper and sing or read aloud. A few wear red or maroon blouse accents, beaded necklaces and drop earrings. Small oil lamps and a strand of green fairy lights sit at the edge of the raised stage, and the floor is pale tile with a dark inlay border. No candidate for a person is visible in the scene.2009-10-17December 21 20132013-12-21
