A woman with a vermilion dot and white forehead marks in a red top holds a lamp near the bottom edge. A woman in a pale blue shawl over white clothes holds a lamp at right, and women in white with red shawls sit behind holding booklets and lamps. Foreground: a woman in a white and cream polka-dot salwar with a red-orange shawl and a rudraksha mala holds a lamp; beside her a woman in a white blouse with a red-orange shawl and malas holds a lamp; a woman on the right with hair in a bun and a bindi and cream sari presses her palms together. Behind them, bare-chested men in white dhotis and rudraksha malas hold lamps, and a pale lit aisle runs along the right with white and gold decor. Soft focus across the crowd suggests a satsang or puja-style gathering.2018-01-08January 17 20142014-01-17A large indoor gathering of devotees seated on chairs and floor in a banquet-style hall, many wearing white kurtas or tunics with red-orange shawls and beaded malas. Several hold small brass oil lamps or bells, and many have palms pressed together in namaskar or are chanting with eyes closed. Water bottles sit on the floor, and a blue draped backdrop and gold-trimmed chairs are visible behind. The scene suggests a satsang or puja, with a woman in front holding a lit lamp and a woman in a white top with folded hands at centre. No deity murti or throne is clearly visible in frame.2013-12-19A large seated congregation holds small lit oil lamps during a ritual gathering in a bright hall. In the foreground, a woman in a white and yellow dotted kurta and a red-and-black shawl holds a lamp in her left hand while gesturing with her right. Beside her, an older woman with light hair wears a white shirt and a red striped shawl, holding a lamp. On the far right, a young woman in a cream sari with a thin border and white forehead marks presses her palms together in prayer. Behind them, rows of devotees wear rudraksha malas and red-bordered shawls, some bare-chested, and many more seated people fill the room, with more lamps visible in the background.2018-01-08May 01 20142014-05-01May 01 20142014-05-01October 17 20122012-10-17
