A photograph of a temple rite beside a carved reddish-brown pillar wrapped in orange cord. A long-haired figure in saffron-orange robes, rudraksha-style beaded gold necklaces, and a sacred ash mark on the forehead reaches out with one hand toward a bundle of dried grass stalks against the pillar, smiling and looking down. A shaved-headed priest in orange cloth with white tripundra lines and a red dot stands beside him, wearing a gold necklace. A golden figure carved in relief is visible at lower left, and a clear pale sky fills the background. Swamiji (probable) is shown in an appearance-based cue match: long swept-back hair, saffron clothing, and ceremonial gold necklaces.2013-02-28A photograph of a wooden ceremonial chariot or palanquin-style shrine decorated with yellow and pink flower garlands, lit at night with palm fronds behind. A long-haired man in a yellow dhoti with a shoulder wrap and a heavy gold necklace reaches out to touch the garlanded structure. On the right, a man with a shaved head, saffron/orange robe and a white forehead mark holds a brass plate. Two people are visible.2010-12-20July 22 20132013-07-22A photo of a woman performing an aarti with a flaming oil lamp in a silver holder in her right hand and a silver bell in her left. She wears a saffron-orange sari with a matching shawl, a heavy gold bead necklace and bangles, and looks upward. Beside her stands an ornate reddish-brown shrine with carved pillars and a sculpted figure, with a palm tree behind and a bundle of pale dried grass beside the shrine.2013-02-28A photograph of a shaved-headed?no. A long-haired figure in saffron-orange robes stands beside an ornate copper-coloured temple pillar wrapped with orange cord and rope, reaching up with one arm to touch its top. The figure wears a gold bead necklace and rudraksha malas, with bangles on the wrist and a sandalwood-marked forehead. Beside them, a second man in orange cloth holds a silver plate with a pink cloth. A golden deity or attendant figure is carved near the base of the pillar. The setting is bright and open, consistent with a temple ritual or procession. The figure's appearance matches a probable Swamiji with long hair, saffron clothing, rudraksha and gold ornaments, performing a ritual touch on the pillar.2013-02-28October 17 20102010-10-17July 24 20132013-07-24February 28 20132013-02-28Outdoor ritual photograph at dusk beside a palm tree.
