A photograph of a healing or blessing moment indoors under warm, dim lighting with hanging decorative cloth above. A person with long, dark, curly hair in an orange sleeveless top places a hand on the shoulder of a balding older man in a white short-sleeved shirt and light trousers who bends his head forward. A second woman in an orange-red sari with a bindi stands behind, reaching toward the man's forehead. A badge hangs from the man's neck and another orange-clad person stands at the right edge. The orange-clad figure with long curly hair shows appearance cues but is not clearly distinctive enough to confirm identity, so the role is given as a devotee or sannyasi.2010-02-10November 30 20052005-11-30June 04 20062006-06-04 +1 copiesJune 04 20062006-06-04A photograph taken indoors at night showing a woman with long dark curly hair pressing both hands to the forehead of an older man with grey hair and a white beard. The man wears a white polo shirt with a rudraksha mala and sits on a green floor mat with an orange cloth over his lap. Behind them, several seated men in white clothes with saffron/orange shawls and rudraksha malas sit on red-striped cushions, one standing with a tripod-mounted camera. A speaker, red cables and a small stand with a brass dish are visible on the floor. A bluish logo appears at top left. Nothing in the image establishes who is being honoured beyond the visible appearance, so no candidate is identified.2006-06-04A seated man with grey hair and a moustache, wearing a white kurta, an orange shawl, and a long rudraksha mala with a pendant, has his eyes closed while a woman in an orange garment and a white flower garland touches his forehead with her right hand. His own hands are raised palms outward. Behind them, other people in orange and white clothing sit on a green mat in a dim hall, with equipment and cables visible at the back. The gesture appears to be a blessing or initiation moment.2006-06-04Candid photograph at an indoor convention in Salem, Tamil Nadu. A long-haired man in a white dhoti-style garment with a gold-bordered shawl stands in the right foreground, his hand raised to the forehead of an older man. The older man wears a white shirt, a rudraksha mala and a black bead necklace, with a conference-style badge on his chest, and gazes forward. Behind them a person in an orange shawl and white clothes with a beaded necklace stands partly visible.2006-07-30October 15 20062006-10-15June 04 20062006-06-04A photograph of a meditation or blessing session in a hall with white sheets on the floor. In the foreground, a young man with long dark wavy hair wears an orange robe and blue-and-orange flower garlands. He reaches forward with both hands to touch the head of an elderly man with white hair, who kneels in a blue-and-white checked shirt and wears a rudraksha mala. Behind them, a woman in a white and gold-bordered salwar kameez stands with one hand raised, and another person in white clothing is partly visible at the left in an orange garment. The scene suggests a darshan or blessing moment.2006-06-11July 23 20102010-07-23December 29 20092009-12-29
