A photograph of a person in a rust-red turban and matching red-orange garment, seen from behind and side, lighting or tending a large brass lamp stand with a tall open flame. The lamp is garlanded with yellow, red and white marigold strands, and leafy green branches with orange blossoms stand behind it under dark palms. A gold bangle is visible on the raised arm. The scene suggests an evening lamp ritual such as karthigai deepam, shown in an outdoor garden setting.2015-11-25Evening outdoor ritual photograph with a large copper fire vessel on a tall metal stand, flames rising from its top and a flower garland wrapped around the stand's pole.
