A man in a checked short-sleeved shirt and white dhoti with green border squats on a bare concrete floor, hammering and chasing a sheet of copper with a hand chisel and hammer. A red thread is tied on his wrist. Around him lie metal tools, a hammered copper bowl, stacked copper pots and wooden crates, and a concrete block wall stands behind. No a person candidate is visible; the scene shows metal casting and craft work at a sacred arts setting.2006-12-10 +1 copiesMaking Of Sacred Arts University +1 copiesSeptember 22 20092009-09-22 +1 copiesJuly 20 20092009-07-20Two men sit on the ground at an outdoor workshop shaping gold-coloured metal pieces. The man on the left, in a white t-shirt and green cloth, hammers a curved piece with a wooden mallet while a stack of ringed brass or gold-toned components lies beside him. The man on the right, in a striped grey shirt and white dhoti, works on an ornately embossed arc with a small tool. Scattered around them are more curved metal sheets, a wooden plank, a shallow metal bowl and a sheet of plastic on the red earth. Corrugated metal sheeting forms the backdrop.2013-07-11July 20 20092009-07-20July 19 20092009-07-19November 29 20132013-11-29A man in a checked collared shirt and white lungi crouches on a concrete floor, hammering a repoussé design into a sheet of orange-and-brown patinated copper. A wooden-handled chisel or punch rests against the metal, and scattered nails, metal curls and wood shavings lie around him. The embossed relief shows a face with bulging eyes, possibly a deity or mask motif. The scene looks like a metal craft workshop.2006-12-10 +1 copiesApril 28 20152015-04-28A craftsman in a light blue checked shirt kneels on a dirt floor, hammering and chiselling a copper repoussé panel with ornate scrolling leaf and floral patterns. A red thread is tied on his wrist, and a line of gold-coloured inlay runs along the panel. Hammers and a wooden block lie nearby, and bare feet are visible at the left edge. Ritual metalwork is being prepared in a workshop setting, with no a person candidate visible.2009-11-20A photograph of a man in a striped yellow-and-white shirt and checked lungi crouched on a concrete floor, hammering a sheet of metal with a wooden-handled hammer. He is bent low over the work, and a second person in a blue-and-black checked lungi sits beside him holding a small printed booklet with a colourful cover showing a robed figure. Scattered wooden boards, sacks and a large copper pipe lie in the background of a workshop used for metal casting work.2006-12-10 +1 copies
