A large dark bronze or clay-coloured sculpture of a female deity lies on sandy ground at a construction site, propped on rubble and stone blocks. The figure wears an ornate crown, a broad collar, a jewelled chest ornament and a heavy waist girdle with pendant tassels. Its raised left hand is held in a mudra and the right hand rests near the hip. Wooden scaffolding and a partly visible person in white clothing appear at the edges of the frame. Unfinished surfaces suggest the statue is still being made.2013-07-11July 11 20132013-07-11July 11 20132013-07-11November 29 20132013-11-29Nithyanandeshwara Paramashiva Devalaya +1 copiesA bronze-toned metal statue of a standing female deity murti with a tall tiered crown, earrings, bangles and a waist sash dominates the frame, held upright by a young man in a white dhoti and white shirt on the right. A second similar statue stands blurred on a white-draped table to the left, with small figurines and a shallow bowl on the cloth. Behind them, a man in orange-red robes stands near a parked vehicle in an outdoor setting at dusk.2013-07-13Two unfinished clay sculptures of seated figures are being modelled on a metal work table outdoors, in front of a red-brown wooden door and a grey metal cabinet. The left figure is a dull grey-brown clay torso and head with legs crossed, held up by a pale brick. The right figure is a warm orange-brown clay seated figure with arms extended, resting on a white cloth. Three men stand behind: one in a white shirt with a light check pattern, one in a blue-and-white striped shirt, and one in a white shirt with a badge. Modelling tools lie on the table.2013-07-13 +1 copiesA photograph of a bronze-coloured seated deity murti, a four-armed figure with a tall crown and ornate necklaces, lying or resting on a concrete floor outdoors. Its hands are raised in mudra gestures and its legs are crossed in a seated pose on a lotus-like pedestal base. Around it are scattered tools and materials: an angle grinder, metal fittings, a wrench, pliers, loose rods, a grey concrete block and red bricks, with electrical cables running across the ground. No people are visible in the frame.December 13 20092009-12-13A large bronze seated deity murti, with four arms, a tall crown and a seated lotus pose, is displayed under a white cloth canopy at an outdoor worksite. Its arms hold a small pot and other ritual objects, and its surface is dark, polished bronze. A man in a white sleeveless vest stands at left among bricks, stone and construction debris, with blurred figures in red and white clothing behind. The statue appears to be a work in progress or inspection.2006-09-18Photo 11734329A photograph of a large dark brown wooden sculpture lying horizontally on a black work surface in a dim workshop. The carved figure is seen from above with arms and legs extended, its head at right with carved facial features, and the glossy surface shows a light sheen. A pair of carving tools with yellow handles and a black chair are at the upper left, and a partially visible person's bare legs and white cloth appear at the top edge. No one is seated on the figure; the sculpture is being worked on.2013-07-04
