The deity wears a purple silk garment, layered gold necklaces, and white and red flower garlands. Behind it hang a gold arch and orange cloth, and the shrine is framed by garlands of yellow, red, purple and white flowers. Golden hands and a trident-like emblem appear at the left edge. The scene is a pada-puja, a ritual worship of the deity's feet, and the visible crown and garlands show a ceremonial adornment.2011-12-14January 09 20182018-01-09A photograph of a temple scene centred on golden metal deity murti seated on a throne beneath an ornate gilded arch, decorated with heavy garlands of yellow, white, red and purple flowers. A figure seen from behind, with long dark matted hair adorned with a white and pink flower garland, wears a rust-orange cloth and gold bangles and raises one arm toward the deity. The foreground murti wears a gold crown, a jewelled necklace and a maroon garment, with a gold hand gesture. No clearly identifiable face of the standing figure is visible, so identity is uncertain. Ritual decoration and floral offerings dominate the frame.2016-12-14December 14 20112011-12-14A priest in a purple dhoti and purple shawl with a rudraksha-style bead necklace and bangles stands at a golden deity murti, arranging a garland of marigolds and white jasmine in colors of yellow, red and purple. The murti wears a golden crown, red and gold silk garments, and garlands of red and yellow flowers, with a hand placed on its shoulder. In the foreground is a silver hooded snake-canopied shivalinga-style base with a golden face and gemstone-studded arch above, draped in red and orange garlands. Behind them stands an ornate gold arch with gold-draped curtains. Appearance-based cues are not sufficient to name the figure, so the figure is described by role as a priest performing an abhishekam-style offering.2013-03-07A temple pada-puja at a shrine where two ornately dressed deity murtis stand under a gilded arched backdrop, both heavily garlanded with red, purple, yellow and green flower strands. A man in a purple dhoti with a red-gold border and a multi-strand rudraksha-style bead necklace stands bare-chested, touching the feet of the murtis with his hand. At left, a man in orange robes holds a brass tray of flowers. Carved stone pillars and brass lamps frame the scene.2011-12-14A photograph inside a temple shrine showing a worshipper in a purple dhoti and purple garment with a red-and-gold border, wearing a beaded red-and-gold bangle and necklace, reaching forward to anoint the head of a richly adorned murti.
