A person in a rust-red unstitched robe with a saffron-orange waist sash and a white flower garland stands in profile at left, facing a shrine niche in a dimly lit stone temple. Inside the niche, a standing deity murti with a red and gold turban, red-and-gold garments and garlands sits beside a smaller metal figure. Brass oil lamps stand on the stone ledge, and the carved temple pillars frame the scene.2014-08-05Night photograph of a temple shrine. A man with long dark hair and a white flower garland with gold bead strands stands in profile, wearing a rust-red dhoti with an orange-gold waistband and bare upper body, both palms resting on a carved stone ledge as he looks upward toward a stone lion-faced carving. A tall brass oil lamp stands at left beside a small painted deity figure and red and green decorations. A red and pink cloth hangs behind him and other people in saffron clothing are faintly visible in the background. Pada puja appears to be taking place at the shrine. The man's appearance does not clearly establish an identity, so he is described by role as a devotee at the shrine.2014-08-05A person in a dark-red sari with an orange waist cloth and a white flower garland stands at a grey stone shrine, leaning forward toward an altar. In the centre a smiling man with long dark hair wears a saffron-orange garment over his shoulders, a gold-edged orange cloth and a multi-strand rudraksha mala around his neck, standing with hands clasped at his waist. Behind him, two metal deity murtis wearing gold crowns and jewellery are decorated with garlands of yellow marigolds and red, purple and green flowers. A dark cushioned throne with a brown pillow sits in the right foreground, and a gold-framed altar stands behind it. The standing person wears saffron-orange robes and wears a white flower garland with red and yellow floral strands across the shoulder and chest. Behind the platform are a carved stone pillar, a red curtain and a hanging saffron cloth, with a banana plant nearby. Visible appearance cues match Swamiji (probable), with long swept-back hair and orange robes, standing in a temple welcome setting. One other person's partial cloth is at the far left edge of the shrine. Only one physical person is visible.2009-11-19A photograph inside a temple-like shrine at night under a white tarpaulin canopy with pink and yellow cloth draped on poles. On the left, a stone shrine holds a gilded deity figure and a bearded saint statue wrapped in a red-and-gold garment, garlanded with multicoloured flower strands. A tall brass lamp stands beside it.
