Indoor home scene in a domestic entrance with cream walls and a carved wooden door. A man in long hair and saffron-orange robes, garlanded with white jasmine and red flowers, smiles and gestures with raised fingers, as an orange-robed attendant with long hair stands at right beside a brass oil lamp (deepam) decorated with red-pink flower garlands. Women in pink and cream silk saris and gold jewellery, a man in a white shirt, and a small boy in white gather around, smiling and clapping. A tall garlanded frame hangs above the doorway. The orange-robed garlanded man has distinctive long swept-back hair, saffron clothing and a floral garland, consistent with an appearance-based Swamiji (probable) candidate, shown in person.2010-01-10A home interior in a pink-walled room during a visit to a devotee's house. On the right, a figure with long swept-back dark hair wears a white jasmine garland and an orange saffron shawl over an orange top, holding a brass bell and smiling as he extends a lit brass oil lamp toward a small wall shrine with a cream door. Beside the lamp, a man in a white shirt with a dark rudraksha-style mala looks on with hands folded. To the left, five people stand with palms pressed together in namaskar: a woman in white with jasmine in her hair and a dark mala, a young woman in white with glasses, and two girls in white with long braids, dark malas and white flowers. A woman in white at far left also has hands joined. The scene suggests a padapuja or aarti at a devotee home.2010-01-09February 05 20102010-02-05June 21 20142014-06-21January 23 20102010-01-23A photograph of a small home interior where a family performs a lamp ritual at a doorway decorated with mango leaves and pink and multicolored flower garlands. A man in a white shirt and a woman in a white saree with a red border join palms in prayer while a lit oil lamp is held near the doorway. A child in a light blue outfit with folded hands kneels at lower left. Standing at right, a figure in a saffron-orange robe with a maroon-striped shawl, long dark hair and a faintly visible rudraksha-style neck adornment watches, while another person in orange robes stands at the doorway receiving the lamp. A cameraman is visible at far left and a pink floral arrangement sits at the right edge, with a small framed picture nearby. A painted floral panel decorates the wall to the left.2010-02-15A photograph inside a small home shrine room with white walls and framed portraits decorated with yellow flowers. In the centre, a man in an orange sleeveless robe with long, swept-back dark hair holds a brass handbell in one hand and stands behind a lit brass aarti lamp held by a woman in a black sari with gold border, hands pressed in namaste. Behind him a man in an orange robe with a rudraksha-style necklace stands with hands folded, and a man in a white shirt and glasses stands at the right edge, hands together. Framed pictures and a small portrait of a figure in white are on the walls. Appears to be an aarti ritual during a home visit.2010-01-11 +1 copiesJune 27 20142014-06-27July 07 20142014-07-07 +1 copiesAugust 25 20092009-08-25July 07 20142014-07-07 +1 copiesJuly 07 20142014-07-07 +1 copies
