A photograph inside a small home shrine room with white walls and framed portraits decorated with yellow flowers. In the centre, a man in an orange sleeveless robe with long, swept-back dark hair holds a brass handbell in one hand and stands behind a lit brass aarti lamp held by a woman in a black sari with gold border, hands pressed in namaste. Behind him a man in an orange robe with a rudraksha-style necklace stands with hands folded, and a man in a white shirt and glasses stands at the right edge, hands together. Framed pictures and a small portrait of a figure in white are on the walls. Appears to be an aarti ritual during a home visit.

January 11 20102010-01-11A home shrine interior where a man in an orange sleeveless robe and an orange shawl holds a brass aarti lamp with a flame and a brass bell, performing an aarti ritual. Framed portraits and pictures line the walls, including a framed sketch of a woman in a sari and a painted figure in a robe. Yellow flower garlands decorate the frames, and a brass lamp stands on a small altar at lower left. The orange-robed man has long hair and a shawl, a cue consistent with the page, so he is labelled Swamiji (probable) performing aarti.2010-01-11 +1 copiesPhotograph of a domestic shrine room with framed deity paintings on the walls and a dark wooden altar ledge holding oil lamps, brass plates and small offerings.
