July 07 20092009-07-07Outdoor scene at a dusty village ground beside a tree-lined road, with a large ornate golden ratha (chariot) on the right carrying deity murtis under a decorated canopy, and a row of framed posters along its base. Several dozen people in white dhotis and white shirts, some in saris with orange and green tones, stand and sit in a semicircle; a woman in an orange blouse and green skirt stands at centre-right facing the chariot while others sit on mats near puja offerings. A thatched shelter and a white van and red bus appear behind the crowd. The page indicates a Ratha Yatra procession for deities of Sri Nithyanandeshwara and Nithyanandeshwari, but no a person figure is clearly distinguishable from appearance in this frame.2006-10-25A festival procession on a dirt road lined with palm trees and bushes. A decorated golden ratha, or chariot, is pulled forward, with a canopy of orange and yellow fabric above and garlands, streamers and colourful tassels hanging from it. Devotees in white dhotis and white shirts, several wearing yellow or saffron shawls, walk alongside and push or hold the chariot, some with arms raised. A small girl in an orange dress walks in the foreground, with a man in a white shirt and yellow shawl beside her. A figure seated under the canopy wears red and orange, but the appearance is too uncertain to attribute to a specific person.2009-12-27December 31 20092009-12-31December 31 20092009-12-31October 20 20062006-10-20Outdoor procession on a dirt path with a decorated golden palanquin-style ratha carrying a seated figure in an orange-red garment beneath an ornate orange canopy and a golden finial. Red and orange flags, a tented structure and shade trees fill the background under a clear sky.2010-12-22A large outdoor evening procession moves along a dirt road lined with palm trees. At the centre, a golden ornate palanquin decorated with marigold garlands, bells, and a fringed canopy carries a seated figure dressed in orange and gold. Around it, a dense crowd of devotees in white clothes and white dhotis and sarees walks forward, many with hands joined or extended. A few people wear saffron-orange robes, and some carry orange flags. Palm trees, low buildings and a loudspeaker tower appear in the background under a hazy sky.2010-02-12December 31 20092009-12-31August 28 20112011-08-28 +1 copiesA crowded outdoor scene under leafy trees where devotees gather around a golden deity murti decorated with yellow, orange and purple garlands and a red draped backdrop. A man in a white shirt and white dhoti stands near the murti, and a woman in a white sari receives something from him at the front. Other women wear white saris, orange and red blouses, and bright salwar. Many men in white shirts and dhotis press forward through the crowd, with a boy in a black shirt among them. The statue sits on a gilded red pedestal, and the scene suggests puja or prasadam distribution.2010-01-01December 06 20112011-12-06
