December 06 20112011-12-06December 06 20112011-12-06Outdoor satsang on a dirt-and-grass ground under trees, with a large crowd seated on mats. In the foreground a long-haired person in a zebra-striped black-and-orange shawl sits cross-legged on a red-and-patterned mat, facing the gathering; a saffron-robed monk sits to the right. Behind them a small golden palanquin with a red canopy, garlands and a decorative dragon-like front is set on a wheeled cart, flanked by saffron-clad attendants and a red-draped table. Many people in white clothes sit in rows, and a cameraman with a tripod stands at left near a parked vehicle, with a red-tiled building behind. The most visible cues are long dark hair and a striped shawl on the seated figure, though the appearance is not conclusive.2011-12-06December 06 20112011-12-06December 06 20112011-12-06Outdoor satsang in a garden setting with dry earth, trees and a red-and-white ornamental arch framing a dark deity murti. A figure seated on a red and gold throne-like chair with orange drapery sits at the centre of the platform beneath the murti. Around them, about two dozen people sit cross-legged on woven mats in white clothes with red and orange shawls and sashes, with several women in white and a few seated in chairs at the edges. Some hold water bottles, a purple bottle sits on the mat, and an audience member in the foreground wears an orange-tinged shawl. A figure at the edge wears a blue and white top and red sash.2013-03-31December 06 20112011-12-06A large crowd of devotees sits on the ground outdoors in an evening setting, mostly dressed in white with some in orange and cream. At the centre, a figure with long dark hair wears an orange robe and a white shawl, seated before a group of decorated deity murti framed by yellow and orange garlands. Behind them stand ornate carried shrines or palanquins with colourful fabric canopies, and a few onlookers stand at the back. The gathering appears to be a seated satsang or puja before the processional deities.2005-12-22Outdoor photo of a temple ritual in progress beside a small stone shrine with a carved pediment topped by white figures of bulls. Inside the shrine a deity murti is decorated with garlands and flowers. A figure in orange robes stands at the shrine doorway, while another in orange sits near it. Many devotees sit on gravel in white and cream clothing, some women in saffron, teal and red saris, with long braided hair. Several men in white dhotis stand in lines on the left. Colourful umbrellas or canopies with orange and blue fringes shade the procession area, and a metal-roofed shelter and water tank appear at left under trees.2006-12-25A photograph of an outdoor satsang under a large banyan tree. A figure in orange robes sits on a red throne-like seat in front of a dark-skinned deity murti with a crown, framed by a white arched niche. Many seated devotees, mostly in white and pastel clothing, face the throne across mats. Some wear yellow, orange and pink saris and kurtas; one woman in a pink top stands at the right near a speaker.2010-02-10March 10 20132013-03-10Outdoor satsang gathering on bare ground beneath trees, with a large crowd of mostly women and children seated in rows. In the foreground a woman in orange robes sits in a zebra-print armchair speaking to the group, a tablet on a small wooden table beside her with a water bottle. Several people in orange robes sit cross-legged holding brass plates with food offerings, and a man in orange robes with a shaved head sits closest to the camera. At right, a golden palanquin with a deity murti is decorated with yellow flower garlands and red tassels under a canopy, with a cameraman filming nearby. Other people in white clothes stand and sit around the scene.2011-12-06
