Night photograph of an outdoor event. In the foreground, several men stand in a line facing right, including a bald man in a checked shirt and another in a light-coloured shirt with glasses. Behind them a queue of men in white and pale shirts and trousers stretches toward a lit white-and-orange canopy stage. A large white banner with Tamil lettering hangs at the stage, and green lights illuminate trees. Women in saris stand at the right edge. The stage appears to hold a few figures near decorative displays, but they are too small to describe reliably. Dark sky and parked cars complete the scene.
