Indoor photograph of a large group of people seated on the floor of a plain cream-walled hall with marble flooring and ceiling fans with pendant lights. Many participants wear orange-saffron shawls over white or coloured clothing and sit in meditative or prayerful postures, some with hands folded. In the foreground a woman in a teal top sits beside a woman in a pink sari and another in white with a long grey braid. A tripod-mounted video camera stands among the seated rows, and water bottles rest on the floor. Some people are seated on chairs along the back wall.

A seated satsang gathering of women in a hall with white walls, a pale-curtained door and a red curtain at left. Most women sit cross-legged on the floor in orange or saffron shawls over white and cream sarees, with several holding open notebooks, and food offerings in small plates and containers are arranged on a mat before them. Along the back, women sit on chairs; one in white and orange holds a microphone at right beside a keyboard and speakers, and another in white with an orange shawl sits at the far right. The scene reads as a women's spiritual discourse session with ritual food offerings.
