A photograph of a ceremonial moment in a temple-style hall. A man with long swept-back dark hair, wearing an orange-red draped garment, multiple rudraksha malas, a gold necklace, gold earring and beaded bracelets, reaches out to place his hand on the head of a kneeling man with short dark hair who wears a white dhoti with gold border, a bare upper body, a rudraksha mala and red wrist thread, with palms pressed together. Behind them, several men in white and orange dhotis stand, some bare-chested with malas, and a smiling man with a tilak sits near a small golden deity murti on a stand. Ornate gold pillars frame the right side. The long-haired man with rudraksha and gold ornaments is a person, giving a blessing; he is the appearance-based candidate and this is in person.2017-07-26July 10 20132013-07-10A smiling man with long dark dreadlocks and a vertical tilak on his forehead, bare-shouldered in a reddish-brown wrap with a tan rudraksha-style mala around his neck, reaches out to touch the shaved head of a bald man in an orange-and-maroon robe with a matching mala. The bald man's palms are raised in front of him. Behind them, a woman in a white sari with gold and beaded necklaces, and another person in orange, watch. A golden ceremonial staff or post stands at the left edge, with a gilded figure partly visible. The scene suggests a blessing or initiation moment at an outdoor gathering.2016-05-14August 08 20172017-08-08 +1 copiesJuly 17 20132013-07-17A photograph of a ritual blessing. A long-haired man with dreadlocks, a white tilak on his forehead, a rudraksha mala with a gold pendant, and a saffron-orange dhoti-style garment with gold border touches the forehead of a man in a white kurta with a saffron shawl and rudraksha beads, who raises his palm in response. Behind them, other men in white with orange shawls stand, and a seated man in white with a white forehead mark looks on. A gold-toned wall forms the background.2017-08-09 +1 copiesJuly 11 20172017-07-11July 26 20172017-07-26A photo of a bare-chested sannyasi in a rust-orange wrap with a heavy gold-bead necklace and rudraksha armbands, pressing his right palm to the forehead of a man in a white shirt. The robed figure has long swept-back dark hair, a small red bindi, and a striped sacred mark on his forehead. Two other men in white and cream shirts stand close behind, and a figure in white is partly visible at the edge. Recipient and blessing gesture suggest darshan or blessing, with a red curtain in the background. Swamiji (probable) is shown in person giving blessings, identified by long swept-back hair, saffron-orange wrap, and ornate gold and rudraksha adornment.2013-07-15A photograph of a long-haired man in a rust-red draped cloth and layered gold necklaces with rudraksha bracelets placing his hand on the head of a seated man in an orange shawl. The man in red holds a sheet of paper in his other hand, while a woman in dark clothing holds a sheet at lower centre. Behind them are a gold-carved throne and a standing figure. A cardboard-style cutout portrait of a smiling bearded man appears at right. The bearded man in red has a rudraksha bracelet, a gold armlet and a white tilak; the figure's appearance shows several cues such as long swept-back hair, ceremonial gold necklaces and rudraksha adornments, but identity is uncertain.2017-07-07December 26 20142014-12-26March 27 20132013-03-27
