A woman with dark hair in an orange-and-gold draped garment and a heavy beaded necklace sits in a chair and smiles while placing her hand on the head of a small boy in white clothes with a red-orange shawl and beaded necklaces, who bows his head. Behind them, rows of people in white clothes with red-orange shawls and lanyards stand and sit, and a large screen shows red-and-white images. The woman's appearance does not clearly support identification, so the role is described only as a seated woman in saffron-toned clothing giving a blessing.2015-07-10A photograph of a seated man in an orange turban and orange robe with a gold-bead and rudraksha-style necklace, smiling as he places his right hand on the head of a bald man wearing a white head cloth and white kurta. He sits in a large carved brown leather throne-style chair. Facing him, a woman in a cream-coloured sari with a braided bun and a rust-coloured beaded necklace leans in, and a young boy in a white shirt stands with his head bowed. On the right, an older woman with grey hair and glasses wears a white embroidered top and a red beaded necklace, her hands pressed together. Behind them, audience members sit in a large hall, including a person in an orange top. The figure wears a gold necklace and gold bangles, and the scene suggests a blessing exchange.2015-12-16A seated man in an orange-brown ochre robe with gold border and long swept-back hair, wearing a rudraksha mala and gold pendant necklace, touches the forehead of a bare-chested devotee with a wooden stick, applying white paste. The bare-chested devotee wears an orange cloth over his shoulder, a rudraksha mala, a gold bangle, and white tilak stripes on his chest and arms. A third man in a white dhoti and mala sits at the left edge, watching. Behind them stands a silver trident (trishul) and gold ornaments on a dais, with a bamboo and green-leaf backdrop. The kneeling man bows in a blessing gesture, holding a folded paper. Appearance cues on the seated figure include saffron robes and a rudraksha mala, but the figure is not confidently identified from the photo alone.2014-10-12
