Most wear white dhotis and shawls, and several have shaved heads and rudraksha malas. In the right foreground a man in a white dhoti with gold-bordered edges leans forward, serving food from a steel bowl onto the leaf of a seated diner. Plates hold rice, flatbreads, fried snacks, vegetable curries and pickles, with paper cups of water nearby. Orange cloth and a seated figure in the background are visible at the back of the hall.
