On the right, an ornate decorated vehicle with gold-trimmed canopy, hanging bells and tassels and a gilded platform carries a figure in white clothing standing and facing the crowd, possibly a ratha or palanquin procession. Behind, a steel truss railway bridge spans the scene under a dim orange sky, with yellow and red banners strung along the left side.
