A red carpet runs down a central aisle between metal handrails toward a deity murti decorated with gold-trimmed red and yellow garments and flanked by orange drapes and marigold garlands. Several people in dark and light clothing stand along the left side of the aisle, and women in white saris and a woman in a red sari stand on the right near the wall with framed pictures. Speakers hang on the walls and a stone archway frames the shrine.

Devotees in white clothes sit on the floor on both sides of the aisle, many with hands folded, while others stand near metal railings. Colourful painted pillars with kalasha-like tops line the hall. Partially visible figures in white and a woman in a blue sari stand at the right edge. Overall the scene reads as a darshan or puja gathering.
