Rows of boys and young people sit cross-legged on mats in front of brass plates, small brass lamps, bowls and offerings of sweets and fruit. Many wear white or casual shirts, orange shirts and checked shirts. Older men in white kurta-style clothing sit in the back rows with hands folded, and a shaven-headed man in white and a man with glasses are visible on the right. Some seated people have palms joined in prayer. Orange cloth bags and an orange shawl lie in front, and a small brass deity figure stands at the lower left.A photo of a seated group in a bright hall with pale tiled floor and red-cushioned chairs. Several boys wear white shirts and blue lanyards, and one older youth in a white shirt and glasses sits at the left edge. Some boys hold small items over the plates, and plastic containers with green lids sit between them. Behind them, adults sit on chairs near a large golden bull statue, and a striped red-and-white cloth lies along the right side. The scene looks like a ritual or offering activity for children, with a pale tiled floor and white walls.2010-12-02Photo 11726181 +2 copiesJanuary 26 20122012-01-26Boys seated cross-legged on orange and white mats perform a puja with brass vessels, small bells and metal lamps arranged on golden plates.
