A worker in a pink full-sleeve shirt, plaid lungi and a red-and-white checked head cloth squats on dusty red earth, shaping a grey granite slab with a chisel and hammer. A yellow measuring tape lies across the stone and chips are scattered around it. Behind him is a large heap of crushed grey stone, more cut slabs lean on the ground, and a white plastic chair stands among construction debris, at an outdoor stone-working site.

A elderly man in a white turban and white collared shirt sits on the ground among large cut granite slabs and blocks in reddish earth. He wears a yellow dhoti with a red border and holds a hammer and chisel, working on a grey granite block resting on his knee. Scattered stone chips lie on the ground around him at a quarry or stone-carving site.

A worker in a pale orange-pink garment with a teal and white head wrap stoops over a pile of grey granite slabs and chunks, using a hammer to break stone on a dusty ground littered with stone fragments. A round manhole cover lies on the right. Behind are green trees, a reddish-brown earth mound, and a block building with barred windows.

Outdoor photograph of a man in saffron-orange sannyasi clothing seated cross-legged on a low wooden platform with eyes closed in meditation, hands resting in his lap, a brass kalasha-style vessel beside him on the ground. He wears a rudraksha mala and his long dark hair is swept back. Behind him a young woman in white and orange shawl sits in meditation on the gravel. Behind them stand grey stone deity sculptures, a white boundary wall, red-and-white pillars and a red sheet, with a few people in red and white clothing standing in the background.

Two women in colourful saris, one in red and blue and one in green, stand on the slope among piles of cut grey granite blocks. A thatched hut and a stone retaining wall sit behind, with palm trees on the left. Several more workers are scattered across the site.
