Outdoor tented gathering at the Ujjain Kumbh Mela where orange-robed sadhus sit on a raised platform under a yellow canopy and white tent. A saffron-robed monk with a white turban and rudraksha-style beads holds a microphone in the right foreground, speaking while others sit cross-legged with marigold garlands. Many seated devotees in saffron, orange, red and colourful saris face the platform, and a small yellow ornate umbrella stands over the seated group.

Outdoor procession at a Brahmotsava celebration on a sunny day with bare trees and a metal-frame stage canopy behind. Several people in saffron-orange robes with rudraksha malas walk beside an ornate red and gold parasol with fringed tassels, held aloft by an attendant. A tall golden staff with a finial and a trishul-style standard appear in the procession. A bearded man in orange robes and dark-rimmed glasses holds the golden staff. Nearby, people in plain white clothes with dark malas stand watching, and a woman in a green sari stands at the left edge. Some participants wear flower garlands and a young child in white stands in the foreground.

Outdoors in a palm-lined compound, a row of seated sadhus and devotees sit in meditation on mats and cushions around shallow circular fire pits filled with ash, with wood logs stacked behind them and smoke rising. In the foreground a man in saffron-orange robes and a long rudraksha mala sits eyes closed with hands folded in his lap, a red tilak on his forehead, on an orange cushion beside a brass vessel. Behind him more people in white and saffron-orange and yellow shawls sit in rows, and a few small white structures and a thatched hut appear in the background.

Outdoor ritual by a forest stream with dense green trees overhead. Many devotees sit on the ground and on green mats in white clothes with red and orange shawls, while monks in saffron and orange robes stand and kneel near the water's edge. Drummers hold large drums with red and gold covers. Two ornate parasols stand on the right beside white-clad attendants. Shoes and bags lie scattered on the bank. A large crowd suggests a rudrabhishekam or pada puja beside the river.

A photograph of a temple ritual at an outdoor shrine decorated with marigold and mixed flower garlands on a red curtain backdrop. A bare-chested priest in an orange-yellow dhoti and matching orange cloth wrapped on his head holds up a brass vessel, pouring or offering water over a deity murti at the right. Beside him, a second priest in yellow robes and a yellow head cloth stands with hands raised. A tall brass oil lamp with a flame burns at the right, and fruit and coconuts sit on a tray at the lower edge. Around them, men in white shirts, a man in a cream jacket with glasses, and a man in a light blue shirt observe closely, with an orange-robed figure at the lower left.

A kitchen or food-serving hall with steel vessels and pots on counters and a tiled pink wall. In the foreground, a woman in an orange sari with an orange head wrap and rudraksha-style beads sits on a steel counter, smiling and handing out food. Around her, men in white kurtas, some with orange shawls and lanyard badges, and women in white saris with dark hair and small ornaments are gathered, holding food packets and steel plates. Water bottles are stacked at the right edge. The scene appears to be community food service. Visible people number about twelve to fifteen.

An outdoor gathering under a green shade cloth in a dusty courtyard beside a whitewashed building with a tiled roof. Many seated devotees in saffron-orange robes sit on mats facing a central area where a robed figure in orange sits near a fire and offering setup, with smoke rising. A cameraman in orange stands at left holding a camera, and a tented canopy decorated with colourful cloth and flower garlands sits at left. Several men wear white dhotis, and a few women in white saris sit among the crowd. Some participants have long hair and rudraksha beads visible. The scene suggests a ritual satsang or puja with attendants seated closely together.

A photograph of a seated group of women at a gathering, mostly dressed in saffron-orange clothing with rudraksha malas. In the centre, a woman in white salwar kameez with a white dupatta sits cross-legged with a rudraksha mala, touching a silver ritual tray holding small oil lamps, a small framed picture, and pink flowers. To the left, a woman in orange bends her head in prayer. Behind them, more seated women in orange and maroon garments fill the hall. No a person candidate is clearly visible.
