Around him, a man in white shirt and a woman in white sari with yellow border, a bearded man in orange shawl, a man in white with orange shawl, and a child in beige stand nearby; a cameraman films on the right. Many people with clasped hands are seen at the bottom edge.2006-07-11A photograph of a seated figure in saffron-orange robes with long dark hair and a gold necklace, holding a microphone, on an ornate gold throne with a red cushioned back and carved lion-form armrests, decorated with red and white flower garlands. Behind the throne is a large floral arch of red, yellow and white blooms. To the left, a young boy in an orange-beige kurta stands beside women in white and pink saris, and an older man in white. On the right, a man in white with an orange shawl holds a silver vessel. Swamiji (probable): the seated figure with long hair, saffron robes and gold necklace, consistent with the page caption about Guru Poornima.2006-07-11A photograph of a Guru Poornima padapuja-style gathering in a decorated hall. A long-haired man in saffron robes and a gold necklace sits on an ornate gold throne with a gold lion-figure at its base, smiling, his feet being attended. Before him a woman in a grey-haired bun and white sari with gold border kneels and bends forward, hands near his feet. Standing behind are devotees: a woman in white with a blue-patterned shawl and folded hands, an older man in white with a grey beard and rudraksha-style pendant, a young boy in beige kurta with folded hands, and a woman in a red shawl. A man in orange shawl and white kurta holds a silver vessel at right. The seated person wears an orange-saffron robe and a red and orange flower garland, with bare feet resting on a white cloth. A seated woman in a blue and pink patterned top and white sari kneels at the throne's base, while a man in white dhoti and shirt stands at left with hands folded, and two women in white and cream saris stand at right, one smiling. A bright red-and-white blurred backdrop and striped garland decorations frame the scene. The seated figure has long swept-back hair and saffron clothing with a garland, which fits the page-hinted Swamiji cues, so this is a probable appearance-based identification in person.2007-02-24A photograph of a ceremony on a raised orange-carpeted stage in front of a gilded throne draped with red cushions and white and red flower garlands. A central seated figure in an orange-saffron robe sits cross-legged on the throne, with bare feet visible. Beside the throne, a standing man in an orange robe with curly hair leans in attentively. To the left, women in white and cream saris with gold borders stand near a young boy, and an older man in white clothes stands at the right edge. The stage backdrop is hung with flower arrangements in yellow, orange and red, and a gold-toned ornate pillar stands behind. Several people are seated in the foreground. The central figure appears to be a person, identified by the saffron robe, the long swept-back hair and the ceremonial throne setting, though the appearance is not fully certain.2009-08-02July 12 20092009-07-12July 17 20082008-07-17August 02 20092009-08-02A photograph of a ceremonial stage in a hall.
