A golden seated Buddha statue sits cross-legged in a niche with a pointed arch backdrop, hands in a teaching or meditation mudra at the chest, eyes closed, with a gold-painted metal railing in front. Black Chinese-style calligraphy characters are painted on the gold arch behind the head. Ornate gilded floral carvings frame the niche on both sides. The statue is a Buddha image, not a living person.

A photograph inside a dim shrine hall showing a large gilded seated Buddha statue with a golden robe and a small offering in its hand, backed by carved and painted panels. In the foreground a figure in a bright saffron-orange robe with long grey-black hair bows forward, close to the camera, in front of the statue. Flanking the central image are smaller gilded figures of monks and seated lamas in yellow and red robes, draped with white silk scarves. Decorative flowers and painted thangka-style panels fill the lower corners.

Ornate gold filigree hangs on each side of the shrine.
