Long, hanging roots descend from wide spreading branches, and green leaves fill the canopy overhead. A small concrete platform and a steel railing sit at the lower left, with a few ground-level stones and a hanging blue object visible near the upper left. No people or deity forms are visible.2014-08-19August 28 20142014-08-28June 11 20142014-06-11 +1 copiesJuly 08 20102010-07-08June 10 20132013-06-10 +1 copiesA photograph of a large ancient banyan tree with a massive trunk and many hanging aerial roots forming thick columns, spreading branches overhead with green leaves. A low circular white-edged bed of sandy soil surrounds the base, with a few small brass kalasha-style pots placed at the foot of the trunk. A thin rope is strung between branches, and a small purple cloth is tied high in the canopy at upper left. No people are visible; the scene is a sacred tree shrine setting.2016-08-12 +1 copiesJune 11 20142014-06-11June 10 20132013-06-10 +1 copiesAugust 03 20132013-08-03June 10 20132013-06-10 +1 copies
