May 03 20122012-05-03 +2 copiesA two-panel graphic collage showing night-time processional images of a decorated deity murti on a palanquin or vehicle. Both panels are richly garlanded with marigold and flower strings in yellow, orange and pink, with tassels and bright fairy lights. The larger upper panel shows a close view of the garlanded murti, which has a golden crown and a painted face. The lower-left panel shows the decorated vehicle with several white-clad men in dhoti and shirt walking beside it, one carrying a red bag, and a crowd of people behind. The collage pictures a procession but no identifiable a person figure is shown.2011-10-03 +1 copiesNight procession scene at a ratha or chariot shrine decorated with colourful geometric panels in red, yellow, blue and white, with orange fringe. At the centre a deity murti wears a gold crown and a garland of yellow marigolds, dressed in a teal-blue cloth. In front, a priest in orange-red ritual cloth performs aarti with a flame and offering plates on a low platform. Several devotees in white and orange shawls stand with hands joined in prayer, and an elderly bald man in the foreground watches from the crowd. Several people are visible, and no figure is clearly identifiable as a person.2010-11-18November 24 20102010-11-24 +1 copiesNovember 18 20102010-11-18 +2 copiesNovember 05 20102010-11-05December 05 20112011-12-05A large audience of seated devotees, mostly in white and light clothing, faces a stage at a satsang hall. On the stage, a decorated golden throne with red and gold cushions sits before a tall ornate altar with a golden canopy and bright floral decorations, and a large backdrop screen glows behind. Red and orange banners hang on the sides. The throne is empty of any clearly identifiable occupant, and the image is small and low detail, so no one on stage is confidently identifiable.2010-09-16 +1 copiesDecember 09 20112011-12-09A photograph of a richly decorated deity murti.
