A photograph outside a red brick building with a green corrugated roof. A woman in a white sari with a gold border offers a small fruit or offering into the hands of a young man in white kurta with a rudraksha mala, who smiles and cups his palms. Behind them, a woman in white and another in white with a mala stand near a doorway, and a boy in white kurta at right holds his hands together. A few other people stand in the shadowed doorway. Nothing visible confirms a named ritual or identifies anyone; the young man in white is not matched to a person by visible cues.

Outdoor photograph under a red-roofed covered walkway at a temple-style ashram. A long-haired man in saffron-orange robe and a rudraksha-style gold bead necklace stands centre, smiling and holding a small orange object, flanked by a saffron-clad sannyasi with gold bead necklace in the left background and a man in saffron holding a gold-tipped staff with a trident-topped finial in the foreground. Behind them a crowd of devotees in white and cream clothes stands with hands in anjali, some women wearing yellow and white saris and garlands. A tall gold ceremonial staff and trident are visible at the left. The scene suggests a procession or darshan during a Brahmotsava celebration. Identity of the central figure is uncertain.
