April 28 20152015-04-28Outdoor photo of a group of saffron-robed devotees walking along a concrete path past a black iron gate, with a tall orange brick wall and greenery behind them. In the centre, a man with long swept-back hair wears a brown-orange wrap, a long garland of beads and flowers, bangles and an armband, and walks barefoot on a woven mat. Around him, young men and women in orange and maroon robes stand with palms pressed together in anjali, several wearing rudraksha malas and forehead markings.2013-05-25A photograph of a man in an orange turban and orange robes standing with palms pressed together in anjali mudra, eyes lowered, in front of a group of devotees in an open-sided pavilion. He wears a long beaded rudraksha-style mala around his neck. Behind him, a line of people in orange and white garments also hold their hands in namaskar. Some wear orange shawls and malas, and a few women wear white saris with gold borders. A red-painted low wall, banana leaves and pink garlands frame the scene, and a bamboo-like horn or instrument is visible at left.2015-04-28November 05 20132013-11-05April 03 20162016-04-03April 03 20162016-04-03A photograph of a covered hall with a corrugated metal roof and orange walls. In the centre, a barefoot figure in saffron-orange robes with a long rudraksha mala walks along a red carpet between metal railings. Behind and beside them stand several people in orange saris and saffron garments with folded hands, and men in white dhotis and shawls. Trays with flowers, oil lamps and small bowls sit on mats at the left, and a tripod-mounted camera stands at the far left. A man in orange with a shaved head and gold necklace stands at the right edge facing the procession. A kalasha-like decoration and a framed picture hang on the back wall.2010-11-03December 05 20092009-12-05Photograph of a long queue of devotees in a covered outdoor courtyard under a tiled pavilion roof with palm trees behind. Many people in saffron-orange and white traditional clothing stand in lines separated by metal stanchions. A young girl in the foreground wears orange with a rudraksha mala and white-and-gold dress, and another in white and gold stands at right with a rudraksha necklace. A man in white with folded hands stands near the centre, and several others stand with palms pressed together in greeting.2016-04-03A photograph of a hall where a person in a saffron-orange robe with an orange turban and a dark rudraksha mala walks down a red carpet, smiling, between two lines of people. Many people on both sides press their palms together in anjali greeting, many in white dhotis and white saris, some with yellow shawls. Another person in orange robes stands at right. Blue draped curtains with gold trim, ceiling fans and hanging decorative banners frame the room.2010-02-18November 05 20132013-11-05A photograph of a ceremonial procession at an open-sided pavilion with a corrugated metal roof and a red wall behind. In the centre, a man in a saffron-orange garment with a gold-bordered yellow sash walks barefoot, holding a silver ceremonial parasol with a fringed canopy. Around him, several men in rust-red and orange robes carry offering trays with flowers, fruit and white blossoms, and a gold ceremonial staff stands at the right. Two large orange ceremonial banners with embroidered emblems hang from poles. To the left and right, rows of children in orange robes with white forehead markings and rudraksha beads stand with palms pressed together in namaste. Lush green plants and a paved courtyard surround the group. The centred figure, carrying the parasol and walking with the procession, is a candidate for a person, but his face and appearance are not distinctive enough to confirm identity.2013-11-05
