A black stone statue of Dakshinamurthi, a four-armed Shiva form, sits in a silver arched shrine with a magenta cloth backdrop. The figure wears a turquoise dhoti, a pink headcloth, and layered beaded necklaces, and it is garlanded with yellow and red flower chains. Red and orange flowers are scattered at its base and on a small stone offering ledge, with a dark plaque reading Dakshinamurthi Shrine. The shrine stands on a raised mound coated in red-orange pigment, surrounded by trees and dry ground. No people are visible.2013-07-30June 28 20132013-06-28October 03 20112011-10-03 +1 copiesJuly 12 20132013-07-12May 14 20132013-05-14 +1 copiesA photograph of a black stone Dakshinamurthi statue seated in a silver-framed arched shrine beneath a large banyan tree.
