December 16 20122012-12-16August 30 20142014-08-30A photograph of a seated man in a red-maroon sleeveless wrap with a gold border and a long gold-toned beaded necklace, with a white vertical tilak on his forehead, resting his right palm on the forehead of a man kneeling before him. The kneeling man wears a white shirt and an orange-red shawl, and holds one hand open in front of him. Behind them is a golden deity murti draped in a garland of yellow, white and red flowers, with a blue and gold cloth below it. A red patterned mat covers the floor. The page indicates a person attended this event, but the seated figure's appearance is not sufficiently distinctive to confirm, so the role is described as a seated devotee-receiver of blessing with a priestly posture.2013-11-11A photo of a blessing ritual in a temple-style hall with gold lamps and maroon drapes. A seated figure in saffron-orange robes, with a rudraksha mala and gold necklace, presses one hand to the forehead of a standing man in white clothes and a red shawl, who raises his other palm. A woman in white with a dark mala sits nearby, and other devotees in white and red shawls stand behind, with a drum visible at upper left.2015-05-09May 09 20152015-05-09October 24 20152015-10-24July 06 20132013-07-06July 27 20142014-07-27October 06 20152015-10-06July 27 20142014-07-27October 10 20152015-10-10A photograph of a shaved-headed woman's-style ritual scene: a figure in orange-red robes with a rudraksha mala and white forehead marking reaches out to touch the forehead of an older man in a white t-shirt and wristwatch, who holds his palms together in front of him. Beside them a golden trident-topped staff and a gilded object topped with peacock feathers suggest a blessing or initiation setting. A woman with a white forehead mark sits in the lower foreground and several onlookers stand in the background.2014-09-05
