June 19 20132013-06-19June 19 20132013-06-19A photograph of a seated figure on a gilded throne with lion-headed armrests, wearing a red-and-gold ceremonial garment and a thick garland of yellow, red, purple and white flowers. A man in a white kurta with an orange-red shawl bends forward and touches his forehead to the seated figure's bare foot, while the seated figure's hand rests on his head. Behind them, a woman in an orange-red sari with a rudraksha mala and a woman in orange stand among a crowd, a man with folded hands stands in white, and silver ceremonial poles frame the scene. A brass plate holds flower petals and a small offering lies on the floor. Printed copyright text appears on the lower right of the photo. The setting is a ritual gathering at a satsang homa.2015-07-18July 31 20152015-07-31December 22 20122012-12-22Photo of a padha puja (sandal-footwear worship) at a temple shrine. A seated figure on an ornate gold throne with a tiger-skin cushion wears saffron-orange robes, a yellow and red flower garland, bangles and a red bindi, and extends an arm forward with a smile. A shaved-headed man with white tilak and an orange-and-red shawl stands beside him, holding a tray with orange and pink-tipped sandals on a green silk cloth. A third person in white clothes and a rudraksha mala bends forward to offer respect. Brass lamps and a pink-and-blue wall are in the background. Two physical people are visible, with a third partly seen at the right edge.2013-05-29A seated figure in saffron/orange robes with long swept-back dark hair, multiple strands of white pearl-style beaded necklaces and gold armlets, smiles and raises a hand on an ornate silver throne with a leopard-print cushion. A woman in white with a red blouse and red shawl bends low to touch or offer something at his feet, with rose petals on the ground. Behind them stand several men in saffron robes and white dhotis, one holding a silver staff and an orange bag, with a crowd in the background. Appearance-based cues suggest a person seated as the honoured figure on the throne; a devotee performs an act of reverence.2013-02-13A seated man in a rust-red dhoti and matching shawl, wearing a long garland of yellow and red flowers, gold armlets and bangles, and a leopard-print cushion behind him, extends his hands in blessing toward an elderly man in a white shirt and trousers who bows low and touches his feet. Behind them, a woman in a rust sari with a rudraksha mala stands beside a golden deity murti, and a few women and a young girl in a blue top watch from the back. Red velvet seats and a red carpet surround the scene. The seated man is a probable Swamiji candidate with long swept-back hair, a gold crown-like ornament and ceremonial gold jewellery, so the image depicts him in person.2014-04-13A photo from a gathering in a hall with cream walls and gold-framed ornate throne-style chairs. A long-haired man in saffron-orange clothes, a red and white flower garland and a rudraksha-style necklace sits on a brown and gold throne, smiling and holding a small brass vessel while a devotee in white kurta and orange shawl bends forward to receive a mark or blessing. A silver trident stands beside the throne. Seated devotees in white and orange scarves and a bald man in orange robes and glasses fill the foreground, with a fruit tray and offerings on the floor. Swamiji (probable) is the long-haired man on the throne, identified by his saffron clothing, rudraksha and garland cues.2015-12-24June 16 20142014-06-16April 24 20132013-04-24July 11 20062006-07-11
