In the front left, a figure in saffron-orange robes holds a lamp, and beside him another saffron-robed man in the foreground holds a brass ritual vessel. The setting appears to be a hall with white walls and several people performing synchronized puja. Their hands are raised with lamps, and the mood is one of collective worship.2010-10-26A seated group of priests and devotees performs a puja on a mat before brass plates holding offerings and small lamps. In the foreground, a shaven-headed man in orange-saffron robes sits cross-legged, holding a flower or offering in his hands. Beside him, men in white dhotis with sacred threads sit with their palms together and hold small brass vessels. Behind them, rows of women in yellow and white saris and men in white sit on a red carpet along a railing inside a temple hall, many holding offerings. The scene conveys a formal group ritual in progress.2010-10-05A photograph of a large group of men seated closely together at a nighttime ceremony, lit by many small flames. In the foreground, two men in saffron-orange robes hold lit oil lamps in cupped hands, and a shaved-headed man in orange at the lower centre holds a lamp with both hands. Behind them, rows of men in white ritual clothing sit with lit candles or lamps and some with hands raised in offering. The scene suggests an evening puja or aarti with lamps, though no deity murti is clearly visible.2010-09-19February 10 20122012-02-10
