July 20 20102010-07-20December 30 20082008-12-30Night photograph at an outdoor ashram site. A figure in a flowing saffron-orange robe with long dark hair and a rudraksha mala stands on a white-edged platform, leaning forward with forehead pressed against the massive buttressed trunk of a banyan tree, hands pressed together in reverence. White kolam line designs and scattered petals are on the ground, with a faint yellow flower garland at the lower left. Behind, a man in white with a yellow shawl and a woman in a green sari stand at the edge of the frame beside a rope fence and poles. The figure's long hair, saffron robe and mala match the page's a person reference, but the appearance cues are not conclusive, so the identification is marked uncertain.2008-12-30A night photograph of a figure in saffron-orange robes with gold-bordered dhoti and shawl, wearing an orange turban and a long dark rudraksha mala. He leans his head and body against the trunk of a large banyan tree, eyes closed, one hand resting on the bark. Dark surroundings with a stone step and paving in the foreground.2011-08-13July 20 20102010-07-20Night photograph at an outdoor shrine. A man in saffron-orange robes with an orange head wrap and a gold-bordered orange shawl stands beside a large banyan tree with aerial roots, facing a shrine. He wears a rudraksha mala and holds his hands together in prayer. To the right, a silver arched shrine frame surrounds a yellow-and-black deity murti draped with green garlands, set on a bed of red flowers. The area is dark with a dim background.2011-08-13A barefoot person in an orange draped robe stands on a sandy stone step, leaning forward with one hand against the thick trunk of a large banyan tree. Aerial roots hang and spread around the trunk, and the lower trunks form a dense cluster beside the figure. The person wears a dark rudraksha-style necklace and has long dark hair pulled back. Pale kolam-style chalk lines mark the step. Sunlight falls across the bark, and a glass-tiled surface and a metal pole are visible at the left edge.2011-02-12A photograph taken at night of a person seen from behind, standing barefoot on sandy ground and leaning against the massive grey, buttressed trunk of a banyan tree with hanging aerial roots. The figure has long, dark, wavy hair falling down the back, wears a rust-orange wrap draped over the shoulders and an orange-saffron cloth wrapped around the lower body, and presses one hand flat against the trunk. The surrounding darkness and dim light make the setting recede into shadow. The person's face is not visible, so the identity cue is limited to the long hair and saffron clothing, and the candidate is uncertain.2007-02-25A person in a saffron-orange sleeveless robe stands barefoot at night beside the thick, buttressed trunk of a large banyan tree, eyes closed and head resting against the bark in a meditative or devotional posture. The person's hand is raised near the trunk and the other hangs at the side. A low white curbed edge lies at the feet on reddish-brown earth, with a dark background and a faint light in the distance. A small circular logo appears in the upper right corner.2009-02-16A photograph of a man in saffron-orange draped robes with a gold-edged border standing barefoot beside a large banyan tree. He leans his head and right hand against the aerial roots and trunk, with his eyes closed, wearing a rudraksha mala around his neck and his dark hair tied in a knot at the back. The setting is an outdoor grove with green foliage and red earth at the base of the tree.2011-09-24December 20 20062006-12-20Night-time photograph of a figure in orange saffron robes and an orange turban standing at the base of a large banyan tree with thick aerial roots. The figure, with long dark hair and a dark beaded rudraksha mala at the chest, leans forward with palms pressed together against the trunk in a reverent gesture. A woman in a green sari with a gold-toned border stands at right near a wooden platform and rope barrier, and another person is partly visible at the far right edge. Strings of lights and tall metal poles are visible in the background. A purple logo appears at top left and copyright text at lower right.2008-12-30
