A photograph of a construction-site consultation on a paved courtyard with yellow turmeric marks on the ground. A man in white dhoti and shirt sits on a white plastic chair, wearing glasses and a white shawl with a red-and-green border, holding an open notebook with a drawn layout. A bare-chested, long-haired man in a white dhoti with gold borders and a rudraksha mala points to the sketch while standing. Two men in shirts and dhotis stand and look on. Behind them, a red wall and other people are partly visible.2018-02-01February 01 20182018-02-01A seated man in white dhoti and shawl with gold border writes in a notebook with a blue pen, resting the notebook on his knee. He wears wooden rudraksha mala garlands across his chest and shoulders, thin-framed glasses, and a silver wristwatch. Behind him, another man in white sits on a striped green-and-red mat, with a person in orange robes at the lower right edge. The setting appears to be a hall with wooden doors. Appearance-based label: no ceremonial cues establish a person; the man is shown as a seated devotee taking notes.2017-07-08Outdoor construction site on a paved stone courtyard marked with yellow lines, with scaffolding and red-painted structures behind. A seated woman in white with a green-and-red border sits on a white plastic chair, holding an open notebook while a man in white dhoti and shirt points at its pages. A man in a pink shirt and green dhoti stands beside them, and a bare-chested older man in a cream dhoti with gold border stands at right, looking down. A cameraman in rust-coloured cloth films the group with a professional video camera, and another person in rust-coloured clothing walks in the background. A banyan-type tree shades the left side. Page-level context attributes this to the Nithyanandeshwara temple construction, but no a person candidate is clearly identifiable in the frame.2018-02-01A photograph taken at night of a man in an orange saffron robe seated at a white-draped table, writing with a blue pen in an open bound guest book. He wears a long ceremonial gold bead necklace, a red tilak dot and white forehead markings, and his hair is swept back. Behind him a shirtless man in white dhoti with rudraksha mala stands beside a red-and-white cloth, and several men in white shirts and dhotis stand nearby. A brass kalasha-like vessel and yellow cloth sit at the left edge of the table.2009-01-14May 10th 20162016-05-10A photograph in an indoor hall with polished beige marble walls and glass display cabinets. A figure in an orange saffron wrap with a bun, rudraksha-style beaded necklaces, large gold hoop earring, and white vibhuti marks on the arms and forehead leans over to sign a sheet of white paper held by a man in a pale yellow checked shirt. Two other men stand beside him, one in a pink shirt holding a small black book, another in a plaid shirt. A man in orange robes and beads stands at left, and a gold and orange cushioned chair sits in the background. Framed pictures hang on the wall at right.2012-05-19 +1 copiesA seated figure in an orange saffron robe with gold-trimmed borders and a gold bead necklace sits on a cream-coloured bed, a pen held in one hand and reaching to a small paper held by a kneeling man in a white dhoti and kurta with a pink-bordered shawl and glasses. Red and maroon cushions and a red curtain stand behind them, and a third person in a white shirt is partly visible at the right edge. The seated figure has long hair pinned up at the top of the head with a gold bead garland draped over the shoulder, and a dark cord around the neck. The scene resembles a written exchange or signing of a paper during a seated personal interaction.2011-02-20A photograph of two men seated on a cream-colored couch with a dark red cushion behind them. The man on the left wears a saffron-orange garment with gold border and a long ornate gold necklace with bead-like pendants, a dark rudraksha-style cord at his neck, and his hair in a bun; he is writing on a sheet of paper. The man on the right, kneeling at the couch edge, wears white ritual clothing with a pink-and-orange bordered shawl and rimless glasses, and holds the paper steady with both hands while a pen rests on it. A third man's shoulder is partly visible at the right edge. A leopard-print rug lies on the floor.2011-02-20Outdoor photo beneath a leafy banyan tree at a temple site. On the left, an older man with glasses wears a white dhoti and shawl with gold and green borders and speaks while gesturing. On the right, a bare-chested man in a dark red-orange wrap and a tall black turban stands with his hands clasped, listening. Behind them, a woman in a red-orange sari holds an open blue book, and another man in orange stands nearby, with red temple structures in the background. The page presents this as a person giving instructions to sthapathis during temple construction, but the appearance of the turbaned man is not distinctive enough to confirm that identity, so the description uses roles only and the a person field is unsure. Count: four people visible.2018-02-01May 19 20122012-05-19 +1 copiesDecember 18 20162016-12-18
