Brass ceremonial items and a trident-style staff appear at the right edge. Several women wear gold necklaces, and one wears flowers in her hair. The image is dense with people, the seated audience dominating the frame.2018-01-03A large crowd of women in white and cream saris with maroon and red borders sits cross-legged on the floor in a dim, red-draped hall facing a raised seat. On the right, a figure in saffron-orange robes sits on an ornate, gold-and-red decorated throne beneath an illuminated temple-style backdrop with a flower garland, while brass lamps, plates and offerings are set before the seated women. On a raised red stage at the centre, a man in a red-orange turban and reddish-orange robes sits on an ornate silver throne with a silver peacock-shaped seat and silver staffs or ritual poles beside him. Above the stage, a large screen shows a figure in a red turban and saffron robes, and a banner portrait shows a man in a crown and red garments. Cameras stand on the sides of the hall. The scene looks like a ceremonial satsang or discourse with a seated central figure and a large audience, and the central figure is unclear from appearance alone.2017-12-12Indoor ceremony photo from a seated initiation session. In the foreground, many devotees sit on the floor in white and orange-red garments, some with red shawls, and several hold brass plates. At left, a figure in a red-and-maroon turban and a white flower garland sits on an ornate gold throne, holding a ceremonial staff. Its appearance has several cues of a candidate for a person, though the face is not visible, so the identity is uncertain. Behind the throne, gold-framed ritual items and a tall gold lamp stand. In the background, more people in white and red sit before a lit display screen and a camera. Claimed as an Inner Awakening Shodasi initiation event in Varanasi, 27 May 2015.2015-05-27A photograph of a large hall where a seated congregation, mostly women in white and cream saris with yellow borders and men in orange robes, sits on a marble floor facing a raised stage. On the stage, a figure sits on an ornate silver-and-white throne in front of red drapes and gold-panelled screens, with a golden canopy above. In the foreground, rows of heads and shoulders, some wearing rudraksha malas, are visible, with bags and water bottles scattered on the floor. Several attendees appear to be wearing rudraksha malas and white dhotis; the scene reflects a formal satsang discourse setting.2017-11-08July 08 20172017-07-08
