A framed portrait labelled "Paramahamsa Nithyananda" sits on an ornate gilded peetha throne with carved scrollwork and a lion-face crest at the base, placed at the centre of a dark stone-panelled shrine wall. The portrait shows a smiling man in an orange turban and orange shawl with a red bindi. Hanging brass oil lamps on chains and dark rudraksha-style bead strings frame the throne. On either side, painted deity figures hold a flaming torch and a ritual object. The scene is an empty throne display with no people physically present.2013-07-26July 10 20132013-07-10A framed portrait photograph of a smiling man in an orange-saffron turban and orange-yellow shawl, with a red bindi, sits centred on an ornate gilded throne-like frame with brass bells and chains hanging beside it.
