Bamboo and a red-washed compound wall frame the scene, with pebbles and rocks on the ground. The figure's face is turned away and his ceremonial role is clear; his identity is not established by appearance. No a person candidate is distinctly visible.2013-11-14Night outdoor ritual at a temple-like site under a large tree. A standing figure in orange robes holds a brass lamp or vessel near a dark stone deity murti on the left, with a pink stone base and offerings. Around him a group of about twenty men in white dhotis and orange shawls stand with hands folded in prayer, some wearing rudraksha malas. A dark reflecting pool and white and pink flower offerings lie on the ground. Another orange-clad figure stands at right with palms joined.2008-09-28Night photograph of an outdoor shrine in an ashram-like garden. A priest in the foreground, bare-chested with a yellow and blue dhoti, holds a tray and offers incense smoke over the altar. Another priest in a white dhoti and yellow-bordered cloth stands nearby with a shawl over his shoulder. A tiered stone yagna altar with flower garlands and white offerings sits before them, along with a red-draped table, brass lamps and a jackfruit.2018-03-02August 02 20082008-08-02A priest in white dhoti and shawl with red borders stands at left, seen from behind with a shaved head, holding a lit oil lamp aloft toward a large dark stone sculpture of a dancing deity. The murti stands within a circular arch of flame-like scrollwork, holding a long staff across its body. An orange-walled building with a window and ceiling fan is behind, and a night sky is above. Arm bands of white paint are visible on the priest's arms.2011-09-01August 02 20082008-08-02
