Several men in saffron and orange robes stand in a semicircle; one in the centre holds his hands together in prayer, another on the right with a shaved head and folded hands faces the murti. A photograph of a temple shrine during worship. A large deity murti in a golden arched niche is draped with marigold garlands and red and orange flowers, and it sits on a white and red decorated pedestal. Several men in saffron-orange robes stand at the granite platform in front, one holding a lamp toward the deity and another tending offerings on silver trays with flowers. A man in a yellow shawl and white clothes stands at left beside a fellow in orange holding a long staff. Red curtains frame the open pavilion, and white plants and flowers decorate its edges. The scene looks like a puja or aarti in progress.
