A photograph of a smiling man in a saffron-orange robe and matching orange turban, hands pressed together in namaste, walking through a doorway of an ashram-style building. Long dark hair falls past his shoulders and a vertical mark is on his forehead. Behind him, two women follow: one in a grey-blue sari with a dark border, hands folded, and one in a pink sari, hands joined at her chest. Men in white dhoti-style clothes stand in the background, and a man in white on the right holds the metal gate open. A black fringed cloth hangs over the doorway. The man in orange has distinctive long swept hair and saffron robes consistent with the page's a person reference, so this is an appearance-based probable identification of a person, present in person.2004-09-29December 16 20062006-12-16A photograph of a man standing barefoot on a tiled floor in a hall, wearing a flowing saffron-orange robe draped over his body and a long white and red flower garland hanging to his waist. He has long dark hair swept back and a red bindi on his forehead, and his mouth is open as if speaking. Behind him a young man in an orange robe and beaded mala raises an arm, and a crowd of devotees including children and a woman in a white sari with an orange shawl and blue lanyard stands along the wall. Glass display cases and framed mirrors line the room. Swamiji (probable): the man in the central saffron robe with long swept-back hair and white-red garland fits the presentation cues, so this is a probable in-person appearance.2008-10-27A photograph of a smiling man in an orange saffron robe and orange turban entering through a wooden doorway of a white-walled room. He wears a multi-strand rudraksha-style necklace with a gold pendant and a gold chain, and his feet are bare. Behind him in the doorway, people in white clothes stand near a window decorated with orange and white marigold garlands. A white-draped table and a small electrical panel are visible on the right wall, with a framed picture on the upper right. Floor tiles are light, and pink flower petals lie on the threshold.2007-02-06A photograph of a stone-paved path leading through a garden toward a white building with a doorway. A figure in a saffron-orange robe with a matching orange turban walks in the centre, smiling, with bare feet. Behind them several men in white shirts and white dhotis, some wearing lanyards and name badges, follow along the path. A woman in white with an orange shawl stands at left beside potted flowers, and a man in a light blue shirt stands at right. Framed pictures and a rack are visible inside the doorway, and green shade netting covers the entrance above. The orange-robed figure has long hair, a rudraksha-style necklace and an orange turban, consistent with the page's cues, so the appearance-based label is Swamiji (probable) walking in a visiting procession.2008-02-07A photograph of a doorway entrance with an ornately carved orange wooden door on the left and a mango-leaf torana overhead. A figure in saffron-orange robes and an orange head wrap, wearing a long white and green flower garland, steps through the doorway with one hand extended. Behind him, a man in white dhoti and a checked shirt stands beside a man in white shirt and dhoti, with a palm grove visible outside. A person in orange sari stands further back at right.2008-07-282006 - Visit to Namakkal Ashram New Land and EnergizingA photograph of a long-haired figure in saffron-orange robes entering through a wooden double door into a courtyard lined with bamboo. The figure wears a pink and white flower garland and a red bindi, hands clasped, barefoot on a marble threshold. Beside and behind, a woman in a pink and red silk sari with gold border walks alongside, hands folded at her waist. Behind them a man in white shirt, and a cameraman in white dhoti with yellow shawl film the entrance. A small round stone basin stands near the doorway.2010-02-17March 24 20082008-03-24December 20 20072007-12-20July 28 20082008-07-28A photograph of a procession entering a decorated gateway hung with banana bunches and flower garlands. In the centre, a figure in an orange turban and matching orange robe, wearing a white and red flower garland, stands with palms pressed together in greeting. Beside and behind him, several men in saffron-orange robes wear gold-coloured beaded necklaces and pendants. On the left, men in white clothes and a man with a red headband and white shirt clap and join hands. On the right, a man in white with his palms joined bows, and a man in a red shirt stands in the background. The setting appears to be an open entrance with a red canopy visible beyond.2008-07-17
